Where were you?

What were you thinking, doing on that pivotal day in Human history?

In the Laurentians, near a small lake in vacation along with family.

13, reading a book and my sister beside in a dreamy mind state for her 15th. anniversary gifts...

Mother shouting; come and see this kids on the B/W TeeVee set.

We both ran out to the shore after about ten minutes of watching, picked up what we were reading and right there it struck me;

The ant was crawling, i gave it the index snap -- went flying for a ride.

That night i looked up never to see the satellite as it once was -- empty or lonely.

How about you?

I was.... not even a spermatozooan @ the time...... highly doubt that we could repeat the journey now, even if for some reason we had too.....

I was 14 years old, and glued to the TV as it happened.

Funny, such an important event in human history - and the bright folks at NASA ended up erasing the original video tape. Such stupidity is just... well, I don't have the words.
